Statement: Seattle’s growing economy and vibrant culture are what make our city thrive. But we are on our way to losing our momentum. Historic taxing and spending aren't solving our problems and threaten the progress we've made.

When I am elected, I will protect you from job-killing taxes, fight to make Washington's education system the best in the nation and advocate for the most vulnerable in our community. This district has had the same representation for 24 years. Fresh perspective and a commitment to accountability will keep Seattle a city of boundless opportunity.
