Elected Experience: Elected Commissioner for the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training, 2005-2014; Vice-Chair 2007-2009, Chair 2009-2012.

Education: MA Education, Gonzaga University; BA Communications, St. Ambrose University, Davenport Iowa

Community Service: 12 plus years as board member/officer of the Northwest Career College Federation, and Washington State Private School Advisory Committee. Served as chair & member of the K-12 Education committee of the Chamber of Commerce; my business was a 29-year member of same. Founding board member of People for Effective Government, coached youth sports for thirteen years.

I will listen to constituents and work hard on the issues important to our community. My interest is in representing you, not a party or political ideology.

I am focused on the future, including education at every level, public safety--especially in our schools, and accessible, affordable healthcare for everyone.
