Kay Murano

Elected Experience: This is my first time running for political office. I am not a career politician or a bureaucrat. I have spent my career helping people.

Other Professional Experience: I am Executive Director of the Spokane Low Income Housing Consortium, where I build coalitions, implement creative solutions to get results, and am financially responsible.

Education: B.A. Business Administration, Trinity Western University

Community Service: I served as Administrator for the Spokane Homeless Coalition and a member of the Spokane Mayor's Task Force on Housing Quality. I am active in the community through Volunteers of America, Catholic Charities of Spokane, and the Lilac Bloomsday Association.

Statement: Too many families are struggling while partisan politicians ignore the needs of our community. I was raised in Spokane and have spent my career putting people first -- helping families, veterans, and seniors build better lives.

I want to represent you so we can solve the issues you've told me are your priorities: education, housing, healthcare, safety, and property tax relief. I bring common sense and the ability to negotiate to solve problems. With your vote, I’ll work every day to improve opportunity for our community. Endorsed by: affordable housing advocates, working families, teachers, elected leaders, and 6th LD neighbors!
