Statement: Eastside families deserve experienced, professional leaders with a proven record of bringing people together to solve problems. With your vote, I broke the partisan gridlock in Olympia and had a historically productive session with 98% of bills passing with bi-partisan support!

We fully funded public schools, passed a property tax cut for 2019 to provide relief for homeowners, and put money aside for the future. As Vice Chair of both the Law & Justice Committee and the Human Services & Corrections Committee, I provided protections for survivors of Domestic Violence, started addressing gun violence, funded mental health and substance use disorder treatment, and much more.

I proudly sponsored many of these measures, delivering on my pledge to advocate for stronger communities. However, more needs to be done to ensure social equity, responsible investment in transportation, environmental protections, and ensuring our children are the leaders our state needs to continue its tremendous economic growth.

I would be honored to continue working every day to represent you, listen to your needs, build coalitions, and develop common sense solutions. Endorsements: Teachers, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Realtors, local businesses, local Mayors, Councilmembers, Planned Parenthood Votes, Conservation Voters, Alliance for Gun Responsibility and more!
