Statement: Andrew Barkis has already become a leader in the legislature. As our state faces a housing crisis, both Democrats and Republicans have turned to Andrew’s years of experience on the issue. Andrew brought together renters, landlords, and homebuilders to find common ground to provide more affordable housing. Andrew opposed higher taxes and wasteful spending, defended our small business job-creators, and advocated for local school.

Andrew reflects our community’s values: a fiscal conservative who defends property rights. Andrew and his wife Lisa have two sons and live in rural Thurston County. They attend New Bridge Community Church.
