Elected Experience: No information submitted

Other Professional Experience: Active living and good health are important to me. As a single mother of a half-Korean daughter I appreciate the values of multi-cultural community. Her father's family are legal immigrants, who are enjoying the American Dream the right way.  I'm also a business owner who knows what it means to work long hours to provide for our family.

Education: I attended Seattle University; soccer scholarship.

Community Service: Community service is vital. I served as a volunteer in the "Look Good, Feel Better" program for the American Cancer Society for over four years, the last two at Highline Hospital.

Statement: The scary “R” word. Republican to me is Respect, Responsibility, and Repercussions of an individual’s action, which as a single mom are values I teach my daughter.

I challenge you to look at the deeper layers of how and why you vote for the issues, polices and people you do. I also thank you for voting.

Ask yourself, where does the money come from and who pays for it? Who benefits and why? What are the long-term consequences? And who is the person that represents my values, not just my party preference?

I put my name on the ballot to challenge you to look at voting differently. If you are not ok with nearly a 20 percent increase in your property taxes. If you are not ok with the proposed Head/Jobs Tax. If you are not ok with a state income tax and if you’d like to see tougher laws against homeless camps and public heroin use. If you are not ok with inflated car tabs and crumbling roads. If you are not ok with any of these issues, I encourage you to vote Republican or Independent.
