Elected Experience: I was elected as a County Delegate for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Presidential Primary in 2016.  It was my introduction to the political ecosphere and where I saw the great political transition this country is in.

Other Professional Experience: I have worked Retail for my whole career, mainly in management, where I worked my way from Sales Associate to a Store Manager of a $1.5 Million business.  I am currently transitioning into Teaching.

Education: I received my Bachelor’s Degree in English and History from Western Washington University.

Community Service: I currently perform community services all around Everett and Bellingham.

Statement: I was born and raised in South Everett. I moved to Marysville as a teenager, where I graduated from Marysville Pilchuck High School, then from Everett Community College, and I received my Bachelors in English and History from Western Washington University. The successes of my life stem from the great people within my community. It was the many incredible teachers, coaches, managers and professors, who raised me and allowed me to have the opportunities to be better. I don’t take my upbringing for granted, and now I have a chance to give back to the community that raised me.

Bernie Sanders Campaign has awakened a nation. Americans aren’t as divided as our media wants us to believe. People are standing up and fighting for each other at a level we have never seen before. Americans want a Universal Healthcare System, Tuition-Free Public Colleges and University, investments in Low-Income and Public Housing, investments in infrastructure and much more. It is time we had politicians who joined the fight and truly represented the voice of the people. This is exactly what I intend to do.

The drug overdose epidemic is a symptom of a society in which political leaders are refusing to listen to the needs of their constituents. Based on 2016 reporting, Snohomish County is the drug overdose capitol of Washington State. This beautiful county deserves much more. We want to unlock the potential in all individuals, both within our community and across the nation. We can do this by making smart and intelligent investments in the people. Invest in their health, education, homes and communities, instead of in Wallstreet and continued war. The US has a $3.8 Trillion Federal Budget and when we use it wisely, we can change the world and bring people together.
