Statement: As a husband, father, and commercial fisherman, I’ve lived in rural Whatcom County my entire life. You can count on me to prioritize safe roads, give our kids the education they need, fight for high-speed internet so our rural businesses can compete, and work for water solutions that make sense for farms, people, and fish. I support access to affordable housing and quality healthcare.

Everyone needs a seat at the table to find solutions that work for our entire community. I respect all voices and will take the time to hear from you.

Safer roads, quality education, internet access, solving hard problems: those are my passions. I sat down with dairy farmers and shellfish harvesters to find clean water solutions by creating the Portage Bay Partnership. I worked with both Democrats and Republicans in Olympia to bring our gas taxes home and invest in union jobs and safer roads. I stood strong against a multinational corporation that spilled invasive Atlantic salmon into our waters. Now I ask for your vote so I can stand strong for you and your family.
