Katrina Ondracek

Elected Experience: First campaign for elected office; not a career politician.

Other Professional Experience: As Executive Vice President of United Way of Snohomish County, Katrina has led the organization’s public policy efforts, overseen education and financial stability initiatives, led community engagement, and secured critical resources to expand capacity.

Education: M.A., Anthropology, University of Nebraska; B.A., University of Nebraska.

Community Service: Board Member: Workforce Snohomish, Housing Consortium of Everett and Snohomish County, Partnership to End Homelessness, County Children’s Commission (former), County Emergency Food and Shelter Program.

Statement: A United Way of Snohomish County executive, Katrina is a proven leader who understands local priorities and delivers for families. Her efforts improve lives: implementing K-3 early learning, workforce development, affordable housing, fighting predatory payday lenders. In Olympia, she'll be an effective, independent voice for job creation, transportation solutions including fixing 405 tolls, funding local schools, addressing the public safety crisis of addiction.

A longtime Lake Stevens resident married to a Boeing Machinist, Katrina is endorsed by County Councilmembers Hans Dunshee, Brian Sullivan; former Executive John Lovick; State Senator Steve Hobbs; Representative June Robinson; Snohomish Mayor Karen Guzak.
