A former Prosecuting Attorney with a background in law enforcement, Laura understands community safety. After 15 years as an attorney in Thurston County, Laura has extensive courtroom experience. Serving 10 years as Judge Pro Tem and now Superior Court Commissioner Pro Tem, Laura knows the law.

A Thurston County lifetime resident, graduate of Olympia High and local Universities, Laura knows our community. She has served in the courtroom as a public servant as well as private attorney and business owner. Laura knows the importance of a balanced court and budget.

A community leader, Laura is on the boards of Thurston County Bar Association and South Puget Sound Community College. She volunteers hundreds of hours to those in need through Safeplace and as direct counsel.
