Dave also believes in our community. He appreciates the value of our therapeutic courts, including drug court and mental health court. As a Superior Court judge he will work to establish a much needed Veteran's Court.

Dave is rated "exceptionally well-qualified" by several state-wide specialty and minority bar associations and has practiced law in Clallam County for over 25 years. In private practice he specializes in municipal law, personal injury, real estate, employment and probate litigation.

Dave managed the Public Defender's office for four years while carrying a full, adult felony caseload. Most notably, he was one of two defense attorneys involved with an aggravated murder capital case and, for several years was the only "death penalty qualified" attorney in Clallam County.
