Statement: As an educator, Lillian has remained focused on our state’s paramount duty – fully funding our schools. In Olympia, she fought for the funds to build new schools, address our teacher shortage, and close the opportunity gap that exists for too many of our kids. She also helped pass a transportation package to keep our region moving and create hundreds of jobs here at home. A longtime voice for our most vulnerable, Lillian ensured that our budget provides for our state’s growing mental health needs and homeless kids and families. Keep Lillian Ortiz-Self working hard for us!
