Legal/Judicial Experience: Judge, Washington State Court of Appeals since January, 2016. Prior experience: Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho, Skadden Fellow with TeamChild and law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. Whaley.

Other Professional Experience: Chair of the Lawyer Representatives Coordinating Committee for the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, founding member of federal drug court teams in Yakima and Richland, Washington.

Education: Stanford Law School (J.D.), University of Washington (B.A.) and Richland High School.

Community Service: Past board member of the Yakima Area Arboretum and the Yakima YWCA. Current activities include Rotary and Girl Scouts.
