Legal/Judicial Experience: Pro tem Judge in Fife and Fircrest Municipal Courts and Pierce County Superior Court Commissioner; Superior Court Arbitrator; US Bankruptcy Court panel mediator.

Other Professional Experience: Extensive courtroom experience and diverse law practice spanning three decades; Lieutenant Colonel, 18 years as Army Reserve Judge Advocate General (JAG); past President, Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association. 

Education: Juris Doctor, University of Puget Sound School of Law; Qualification, Army Judge Advocate General School; pending Masters of Strategic Studies, US Army War College.

Community Service: Founding Trustee, Pierce County Bar Foundation for volunteer legal services; Trustee, South Sound Cancer Awareness Research Education Foundation; many civic clubs.
