Statement: Every day Jake puts his heart and energy into advocating for and representing the vital needs of our communities--good paying jobs, quality schools that are fully funded, a transportation system that works for everyone, and an effective safety net for the most vulnerable.

As Vice-Chair of the House Transportation Committee, Jake led the way to secure funding for needed local transportation projects including I-5 JBLM, Highway 167, Port of Tacoma Road, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit. Jake is endorsed by Tacoma Firefighters, Washington Education Association, Washington Conservation Voters, Washington State Labor Council and many other organizations.
