Statement: Throughout my life, I have overcome many challenges. I was in foster care as a child and on my own at 17, supporting myself with three minimum wage jobs. I became a single mother at a young age and worked hard to earn my doctorate.

I understand the challenges we face in our state and believe in working across the aisle to get real solutions instead of political ones, like stopping Tacoma Narrows Bridge tolls from increasing and reducing college tuition. I am a fourth generation Kitsap County resident and proud to serve my hometown as State Representative.
