Legal/Judicial Experience: I was appointed as a superior court judge for Benton-Franklin Counties Superior Court in October 2015. I was subsequently sworn in on October 16, 2015. Prior to my appointment to the bench, I was an attorney for 22 years (with a majority of those years spent practicing in the local courts in Benton and Franklin Counties) as well as a judge pro tem in the local courts for several years.

Statement: It was my honor to be appointed as a judge for Benton-Franklin Counties Superior Court.
To be successful and effective in my role as a superior court judge, I prioritize being prepared, knowledgeable, respectful, fair and impartial as well as being an attentive listener.
I served as a volunteer judge for the local (Kennewick) and state (Olympia) YMCA Mock Trial Competitions held in 2016. I am a member of various judicial associations including the Superior Court Judges’ Association (in Washington State), the American Judges Association and the National Association of Women Judges.
I would be honored to continue to serve the people of Benton and Franklin Counties as a superior court judge.
