Community Service: As a Greek community volunteer at the UW, I mentored many of Washington’s next generation of leaders. I served as a board member of the LGBTQ Victory Fund and volunteer with the Greater Seattle Business Association. I also helped build Graduate Washington, an advocacy organization for higher education access and funding.

Statement: For years, I fought for LGBTQ rights and equality by building Equal Rights Washington–and love won, not just here but across America. I will continue to fight for you in Olympia.

And I will fight for all of our children to have the best education possible! We will fully fund K-12 education, make community college and trades programs free, and make college affordable at our four-year institutions. How? By making corporations finally pay their fair share of taxes. Like marriage equality, they say it can’t be done. But working together we can and will accomplish great things.
