Other Professional Experience: Served as Executive Assistant to the CEO of a statewide political action committee, am a certified County Watershed Steward, helped prevent a proposed BPA high power transmission line from crossing homes in East County, worked in both corporate and non-profit environments.


Education: B.A. Evergreen State College 1985. Interdisciplinary studies in the areas of political science, history, Native American Studies, physics.   Clark Community College forestry, field studies, biology. Portland Community College business and accounting.

Community Service: Reception and rebuilt computers at Empower Up, sold organic eggs at Lisa's Organic Farm, Catholic Chore Services volunteer.

Statement: As a legislator, I will work to avoid wasteful partisan schisms represented by the failed bridge project and the inability to simply hook the Cowlitz Casino to the LaCenter sewer in a timely fashion. I support a new, well designed bridge. I will support tax policies that help small businesses, as well as tax breaks for property owners who forego development in favor of farm and open space preservation. I support excellent schools and a healthy environment. My view is that within problems lies an opportunity to build bridges to a more promising future.
