Statement: If anyone were to describe me in one word, I believe it would be Unique. Raised in a political household, I was interested from a young age. As a delegate for Bernie Sanders I learned the importance of not only participating as a voter, but also the importance of standing up for what I believe in. I believe in the good that government can do, and I don't see that happening. I am running to change the face of politics and to be a voice for the voiceless. As a member of the LGBT community, Greenpeace, Working America, and Human Rights Campaign, I understand the need to fight for everyone's rights. I am also a percussionist in the Portland Wind Symphony and Flag Certificate Chairman in the Sons of the American Revolution. Through family influence in Unions and Academics to friendship influence in witnessing the Heroin Epidemic firsthand, I believe I am the best candidate to represent the 49th Legislative District. Washington needs a well-rounded open-minded go-getter, such as myself to take a stand as the progressive choice to represent the people of Vancouver in Olympia.
