Statement: We need more than politics as usual. We understand the difference between the illusion of freedom and the reality of freedom. We must rise up and declare that our government belongs to us and not just the wealthy, the powerful corporations or corrupt political machines.

We will fully fund education (including science, mathematics and the arts). We need to encourage all students to enroll in union apprenticeships, technical schools and universities.  We must expand rural transit, high speed/light rail, create infrastructure jobs, build publicly owned geothermal and thorium power stations and establish a Public Bank that works for all Washingtonians.

I will defend our civil liberties, by strengthening our right to digital privacy, and end mass warrantless surveillance. I support the Second Amendment and promote gun safety education, training and responsible gun ownership. There is nothing more crucial to individual liberty than control over our own bodies. Therefore, I will protect reproductive rights for women and create universal healthcare for all.

As a veteran, I will do more to house, employ and educate veterans so all can enjoy a prosperous and sustainable Washington State.  We have the resources. We have the people. Working together, we can achieve anything.
