Education: Graduate, Bellingham High School; coursework in Business Law and Accounting, WWU.

Community Service: Founder/Director, Salmon for Washington; Board of Districts, Puget Sound Gillnetters Assn; Successfully lobbied for changes in fishery laws in Washington, California, Alaska, and Utah.

Statement: If you are satisfied with politics as usual/pass-the-buck government, I’m not your candidate. However, if you want common sense politics with honesty, integrity and transparency, then I am your candidate. I’m an Independent so I can work for the best solutions, not a party line. Compromise isn't a crime.

My goals are producing the best educated workforce in the nation, equitable water rights, taking care of vulnerable citizens, honoring our commitments to Native Americans, an economy that works for everyone. I’ll be asking ‘are we delivering services cost-effectively?’ Better government, not destruction.
