Statement: 1,000 more people come to work on the Port of Vancouver than eight years ago when I became Port Commissioner. Furthermore, three companies have been recruited to the area that employs another 500. Yet, there are 40,000 unemployed/underemployed people in Clark County. People want full time jobs. Small business is the job engine of our economy. Olympia stifles small business in our state. In 2015, 37 states had more new businesses formed and 29 states had fewer regulations. The system's broken. I can fix it! Put Washington on top in both categories. Get Washington Moving Again!
