Statement: Mayor Allen Pomraning: I am a retired Engineer and Project Manager. I am running for State Legislative Representative as a Republican to help Eastern Washington. Our Legislature needs experienced leadership, transparent honesty, teamwork,vision, and community passion. I bring that experience. I am a husband, father, and grandfather.

My 2017 legislative priorities are: Jobs and economic development, excellent public education funded by levy swapping, affordable housing and internet access, transportation and energy infrastructure, mental healthcare systems, emergency preparedness. I am strongly opposed to a Washington State income tax. I will work for cost, schedule, and quality accountability from agencies.
