Statement:

Born and raised in South King County to a single working mother who taught the values of hard work and responsibility. Back then, you could work hard, care for your family and still achieve the American Dream. Today, this is out of reach for nearly all.

The decay in our values and our neighborhoods are due to policies pushed in Olympia and Seattle-we are being taxed out of our community! As a single mother raising two boys, I want to help bring Seattle back to fiscal sanity. We can't afford Socialist leadership any longer.

As a small business owner for most of my professional career, Job Taxes pushed by Seattle will drive all small business into troubled waters-when large scale job generators like Amazon and Boeing leave, so do our smaller service oriented jobs like mine. I will fight the Head Tax and strongly oppose a State Income Tax supported by my opponents.

I'll take a get tough approach on crime, gangs, homelessness and oppose a heroin injection site in our communities. Homeless camps are out of hand; I'll work to shut them down. The time is now! Our communities deserve better, please vote Darla Green for Senator.
