Other Professional Experience: I'm a licensed attorney in Washington State admitted to practice in all state courts, several Federal Courts and the US Supreme Court. My expertise is constitutional law and my expertise is in constitutional law although I am experienced in many other areas such as land use, forclosure and environmental.

Education: BA - DePauw University (summa cum laude); JD – University of Iowa (summa cum laude); LLM – University of Washington (Law and Marine Affairs) - Certified ADA Advocate - John Jay School of Criminal Justice.

Statement: I am a “Lincoln” Republican that believes each citizen deserves a representative that focuses on protecting the Constitution and the constituents they serve. Unfortunately, over the course of 240 some odd years, we have seen well intentioned, yet misguided, representatives give their allegiance to special interests rather than the people they are supposed to represent.

I will represent the people of District 1. I will not take campaign donations. I am only interested in, and desire to be, the voice of the people of District 1. Of the many issues requiring attention, I believe these 3 issues require immediate attention:

Under representation of the voters. In 1910 there were 394 members in the House. Today there are 435 even though the population has more than tripled since 1910.

Growing the middle class. Our middle class is shrinking due to our moving from a manufacturing to a debt based economy. We need to end “debt slavery” as a way of life. We need to grow our middle class and support all with affordable health care, education and housing.

Reform our judicial system. Over 85% of people who need an attorney cannot afford one. Our judicial system doesn’t work for the poor, the working poor or the middle class. Our system needs reform so that our courts provide justice for all.

We need change and reform in Washington DC, which cannot happen with the current incumbents. It is time for fresh faces and ideas, with representation that is not beholden to special interests. Before you cast your vote, ask yourself if the representation you have received has helped you? In the words of Albert Einstein “We cannot solve our problems using the same thinking we used when we created them.”
