Statement: I am Tirzah Idahosa a mother, union member, volunteer lobbyist, military brat, Precinct Committee Officer in the 30th LD, and a founder of Democrats for Diversity and Inclusion. I strongly believe we are more alike than we are different. We all want the same things for ourselves and for our families. A safe and affordable place to live, good education, quality healthcare and good paying jobs so we can all prosper. I am running to serve as Your State Senator.

I co-wrote the SB-5321 /SHB-3115 with others who also cared about reforming the Child Protective Services and our foster care system. When the bill passed, we reformed a broken system and changed history, not only for children and families in Washington but across the nation.

I want to be a change agent in Olympia. I will work for improved education and career training opportunities, economic development for small businesses, green energy, livable communities and affordable housing for all income levels. I will also work to repeal I-200 and restore affirmative action.

We are better when we work together, so let your vote be your voice. I would be honored to serve as Your State Senator.
