Statement: I am a life-long resident of Snohomish County with deep roots in both Everett and Marysville. I envision more for this region than what has been delivered in the past. While on the cusp of great opportunities, we need a deep commitment from community leaders if we are going to see those opportunities realized.

I believe that economic prosperity should be available for all citizens, that quality education is paramount, that safe communities are a must, and that quality of life--- especially as it pertains to our youth and the environment--- for all citizens should be foremost on the minds of our elected officials. I also believe that those elected to the state legislature must work across the aisle, that entrenched political division is not healthy, and that working collaboratively is the only way to accomplish what must be done in Olympia.

In order to accomplish these challenges, I will seek input from all stakeholders, not simply special interest groups. I will be a listening ear and a strong voice for all people of the 38th District. I am committed to doing the hard work necessary, mainly because I see myself as being a public servant.
