Statement: Having spent many hours in Olympia as a citizen advocate, urging electeds to fulfill our constitutional paramount duty to all children of Washington, I firmly believe additional issue champions are needed to address three priority problems: Government Transparency, Fair and Adequate Taxation, Amply Funded Public Schools. As your senator, I will collaborate tirelessly and with laser focus to tackle these priority issues. I will also actively support colleagues who are committed to meaningful progress on public health crises, including opioid addiction, gun violence, and homelessness.

As your senator, I will be accessible, communicate clearly and often, evenly weigh critical thought, peer-reviewed scientific research, data, and citizen and expert testimonies to determine whether or not proposed legislation equitably benefits all Washingtonians.

Electing bipartisan problem-solvers who are collaborative community leaders and issue champions is requisite for significant progress in Olympia, and yet an independent candidate has not been elected to the Washington Legislature since 1889. With over a decade of demonstrating successful community leadership in the 34th legislative district, I look forward to translating my experience to viable, fully funded solutions that solve our state’s paramount problems.

Let's make history together. Thank you for your vote!
