Jeff Patton

Elected Experience: After years of public service, I am a first time candidate.

Other Professional Experience: Served as a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer in the medical electronics industry, then led corporate procurement at Microsoft and Amazon, now directing technology agreements for a large leisure travel company.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering, University of Washington.

Community Service: Served in the US Army Military Intelligence branch, Vietnam, 1969 – 1971. Married 40 years to his late wife Kathy, has one son, who recently graduated from college, now beginning his career in software development. Serves as a firearms safety instructor and has long supported Medical Teams International.

Statement: I am running to bring common sense policies back to the 46th Legislative District. For years, Seattle politics have expanded to the rest of our District, hurting the community we call home. I-405 is often at a standstill, homeless encampments line I-5, and Seattle’s jobs tax drives companies from the city. A state income tax is constantly demanded, car tabs are not $30, and Seattle proposes a sugar tax. Independent thinkers, is this what you’ve asked for from your elected representatives?

I humbly ask for your support, and I will faithfully serve the 46th Legislative District.
