Statement: The economic vitality of the Yakima Valley is directly linked to the health and quality of life in our communities. Our environment, our industries, our infrastructure are all connected, and must be developed in ways that balance our current needs with the future we desire.

Prioritizing local issues; for example, chronic homelessness among our youth, restructuring an outdated educational system, and updating our tax code to provide relief to our small businesses. My main objective will be to protect our Valley’s environment, create an atmosphere to attract tourists and businesses, and ensure quality affordable housing for the Valley’s citizens.
