Legal/Judicial Experience: District Court Judge ProTem 2010-18, Commissioner 2015-18. Superior Court Commissioner 2010-12. Current ProTem for Kitsap and Clallam District Court. Presided over thousands of cases, Civil and Criminal Trials, Mental Health, Drug, and Juvenile Courts. Prosecutor 2003-5 in Jefferson and Kitsap County.

Statement: It has been a privilege to serve on the bench as Judge ProTem and Commissioner for both District and Superior Court. I believe in restorative justice by affecting positive change to those individuals that need it. I will continue to hold accountable those who violate the law and refuse to change. Modernization of the Court and transition to a paperless Court will reduce our carbon footprint and save taxpayers money. Implementing a community service option for appropriate individuals instead of jail or fines will give back to the community and save incarceration costs. I will continue to be a strong advocate for opioid treatment and prevention in our community and our jail as well as Mental Health Court.
