Statement: Jefferson County is at a crossroads. We need more affordable housing and living wage jobs in our rural areas. We need services that meet the diverse needs of our growing population living in all parts of the county. I have what it takes: the vision, the experience, the skills, and the collaborative energy to lead in ways that help our county government work for everyday people.

I have opened four businesses in District 3 of Jefferson County since 2011, building communities, encouraging business development and employing twenty five people. I will work to remove impediments for other entrepreneurs, while preserving the rural character that drew my family here to build our house and farm.

Tight budget constraints affect all county departments and services. As a Quilcene School Board member, I have first hand experience learning from these challenges. I built partnerships which helped develop the school garden and playground upgrades at minimal costs.

I ask for your vote. I will work for you to ensure that we have a responsible and transparent budget, to listen to our neighbors throughout the county, to address infrastructure needs, to sow seeds for responsible economic development, and protect our beloved home, Jefferson County.
