Statement: Justice McCloud was elected to the Supreme Court in 2012 after a long career fighting for constitutional and individual rights, often for people who could not afford a lawyer.

Now, she is an experienced Supreme Court Justice. Her fairness, hard work, clear writing, and intellect have earned her awards, endorsements, and “exceptionally well qualified” ratings from groups with varying points of view across the state.
