Other Professional Experience: I am a 23-year veteran Seattle Police Detective.

Education: Associates Degree from Pierce College 1989

Statement: I am running for Buckley City Council, Position #1 to inject new energy and ideas into city government. I was born and raised on the plateau before leaving to the serve in the U.S. Army and have deep familiy roots in Buckley. When my family decided to move back to the plateau in 2011, the decision was easy to make our home in the great community of Buckley. My top priorities when elected are adequate funding for the Police and Fire Departments, crafting city policies that will encourage businesses to move into the empty store fronts in our great community as well as improving city parks for our youth with the addition of a water park.

Residential growth in Buckley is exploding with new developments springing up. The council must do more to make it easier for small businesses to open and thrive so residents no longer have to fight the traffic to and from Enumclaw for incidentals at dinner time. I remember the time when Main Street thrived; it's time that it thrives again.

I would appreciate your vote for Position #1 on the Buckley City Council.
