I have lived in Richland since 1996. I was also in the US Army and retired in
1988. While living in Richland, I
received two degrees in Business Administration. Both from Colorado Technical University. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
in Healthcare Management and a Masters' in Business Administration.
One of my goals is to get a citizens' oversight committee to
ensure citizens' comments are heard and properly recorded, as well as providing
oversight on other high value projects.
Business diversity needs to be a common goal that we should
share. We need to bring in more
businesses that will increase our tax base and not waste the resources we
have. Building more professional
buildings, without having the occupancy to fill them, wastes the scarce
resources we have.
I would also encourage the medical community to keep
recruiting for a more diverse and vibrant community that will bring people from
various areas and cities to Richland to receive the premier healthcare that is
offered.
Electing me as a city councilman, I will work to get
oversight committees established and ensure that we can have a more business
diverse community without wasting the scarce resources we have.
