Statement: Vancouver deserves new leadership and vision. I'm a retired Army Lt. Colonel with 36 years experience including operations, human resources, emergency management, intelligence and security, airport/sea port and railhead operations. I'm tested and ready to serve.

I will foster a better business climate to attract new family wage jobs, streamline business permits and improve our infrastructure. By investing in smart transportation solutions, we can reduce traffic congestion to help our commuters and freight haulers.  Emergency response is critical to the security of our community. I'll prioritize manpower, equipment and training to improve delivery of public safety services.

Drug use and violent crimes are increasing. I'll implement a long-term plan that directs resources to first responders and embraces community partnerships. The current policies regarding homelessness are creating an unfair tax burden and are making the problem worse. I pledge to implement a plan that will provide compassion, empower people with proven programs that offer hope, and protect the quality of life for all citizens and business owners.

Relationships have been shattered and taxpayer dollars squandered because elected officials have not listened to the citizens. We must change course and work together for Vancouver. I ask for your vote.
