Statement: It is a great honor to serve as your County Councilman. As your Councilman, I have worked to find sensible solutions to our homelessness and heroin epidemic, bring family-wage jobs to North County, and prioritize fiscal responsibility.

Since taking office, I have partnered with law enforcement, schools, and community groups to combat the issues of homelessness and drug abuse. Our efforts include legislation to give law enforcement and human services the tools necessary to find long-term, cost-effective solutions. I also drafted legislation to give law enforcement additional tools for addressing chronic nuisance properties and squatters which create unsafe conditions for our neighborhoods.

As Vice Chair of Snohomish County Tomorrow, I will continue to prioritize local, family-wage jobs in our region through the Arlington-Marysville MIC. I have consistently opposed tax increases and demonstrated fiscal responsibility with my vote to renovate the courthouse rather than build an expensive new one; this vote saved over $150 million of your taxpayer dollars.

I am proud to be endorsed by The Everett Herald, law enforcement, labor, the Farm Bureau, and local leaders from both parties.

I humbly ask for your vote to continue serving you on the County Council.
