Other Professional Experience: I started my first business at the age of 22. Over the years I have created seven small businesses and managed three businesses with 10-35 employees. I am a union steward and member of contract bargaining team, and 2011 speaker at the Progressive Caucus of the Congressional House, Democratic Party from Washington, D.C.

Statement: I am married with four grown children and eight grandchildren. My husband and I live in Arlington, working in transportation as school bus drivers. I see first hand how the cuts to education, and job losses devastates our families and communities. I have traveled to our capitol many times speaking to our legislators, asking them to close tax loop holes, fund education and health care. Protect collective bargaining, and public services.
