Statement: I am asking you, the 38 th District residents, to vote for me, Michael Casey.

We are facing a budget deficit that must be addressed, and I believe that I can make the difficult choices on your behalf to balance the budget without causing too much pain. I am running because I feel a sense of responsibility to do my part to help Washington avoid the current situation California is facing. I want to prevent raising taxes. The incumbent is part of the problem. He has been in favor of virtually all spending increases.
