Statement: It's time. It’s time to elect a Senator that can recognize a good idea and run with it, no matter who proposes it. A Senator who can, and will, dig deep to get at the root causes and craft innovative, practical solutions that work in the real world.
There are still too many of us without work. Too many families losing their homes. Too many “out of business” signs. Our infrastructure is still in need of repair. There is still too much special interest money influencing the debate in the Legislature. We deserve better. We can do better.
I’m not interested in going to Olympia to work for special interests. I’ve got your back- not theirs. I’m not interested in doing things the same old way – engaging in rigid ideological battles and the ”public be damned”. Look where that path led us.
It is time for a new direction, new leadership. Leadership that knows the benefits of true democracy rise from the ground up, not the top down. New leadership that stands up for people struggling to secure a better future for themselves and their families. New leadership for the 39th. New leadership that has your back.
