Education: Graduated from Firelands High School in northern Ohio in 1969; Graduated in 1976 from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Community Service: Skookum Rotary member since 1997; Shelton/Mason County Chamber of Commerce member; SOCK past president, an at risk youth service organization; Member of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association; Served in 4-H, PTA, Mason County Fair.
Statement: I am a veterinarian practicing in Mason County for 34 years. It's an honor to serve as your legislator. I remain committed to being a leader who listens to the people and responds to their needs. Quality education, with an emphasis on developing pre-school programs, for all children remains my focus.
I support access to health care for all citizens and supported the "2012 Jobs Now" package creating construction-related and long-term jobs for our region. I'll work to fund full day kindergarten, support our technical skills centers and community colleges, and make our state government more responsive and accountable.
