Elected Experience: First elected in 2008, Kevin quickly developed a reputation as a compassionate listener and effective leader, leading to several awards in business and education.
Other Professional Experience: Kevin is an entrepreneur who owns a chain of coffee shops, leadership instructor at Fairchild Air Force Base, where he was Honorary Commander in 2011, and adjunct business professor at Whitworth.
Education: Kevin studied political science at Whitworth University, earned his MBA at George Fox University, and studied leadership at Harvard.
Community Service: Kevin serves on boards for Red Cross, YMCA, Young Life, and International Trade Alliance, among others, and was Corporate Chair for INW Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Kevin has worked hard to get results for the sixth district. He passed key legislation that saved 500 manufacturing jobs, increased penalties on human traffickers, and overhauled Medicaid to prevent fraud and save taxpayers millions. “In my next term, I will continue to work to bring economic opportunity to Spokane and make our state more responsible to the people by balancing the budget and reforming agencies that waste taxpayer money,” said Parker.
