Education: I attended, and graduated from, Kennewick High School. I graduated, with both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, from Central Washington University.
Community Service: I volunteer yearly as a Junior Achievement classroom teacher for a local elementary school. I volunteer yearly for the American Red Cross "Turkey Trot". I'm a member of the Hanford Area Economic Investment Fund Advisory Committee (HAEIFAC). I’m the Chair of the Public Loans Sub-Committee and Member of the Grants Sub-Committee. I'm a member of the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center's Campaign & Community Coalition.
Statement: It’s your money. Yet too often, Olympia is giving away tax dollars to companies on the Westside that aren’t creating jobs. Olympia needs to stop the political theatre and get to work. Our small businesses are the engines of our economy. We need to make sure they succeed. I believe if a state program is not working or creating family-wage jobs, that money should go back into your pocket.
I live with my wife, Erika and my daughter in West Richland. I will stay out of political bickering, champion public schools, watch tax dollars, and get our economy moving again.
