Statement: Linda (O’Neal) Evans Parlette, a fourth generation resident of the 12th District, is seeking her fourth term in the Senate.
A respected member of the Republican leadership team, Linda was selected by her peers to serve as Caucus Chair beginning in 2006. She currently serves on the Ways and Means committee as ranking member of the Capital Budget, the Health and Long-Term Care and Rules committees.
Continuing to be an energetic advocate for those she represents, Linda’s first priority remains working with the people of the 12th District in resolving issues ranging from water, fish, agriculture, education, health care, land use, taxes, and transportation. Listening to constituent concerns and facilitating resolutions is at the heart of Linda’s leadership style. She is known for being “a voice of reason.”
