Elected Experience: Dan has been elected by his peers as both President and Vice President of his local union.
Other Professional Experience: Professional firefighter, 20 years; Dan began as a volunteer firefighter at age 16 and was permitted to respond to calls from high school; At the time he was the youngest EMT in Washington.
Education: Washington State Fire Academy and continuing education in the fire service as well as additional certifications.
Community Service: Dan and his wife have three daughters and can be found volunteering for many causes- Relay 4 life, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Oysterfest and the Boys and Girls club among others.

Dan Griffey will work to get people back to work, stop wasteful spending, put families before felons and protect individual property rights. Dan will vote to fund education first. He will focus on priorities like public safety and our most vulnerable citizens. Dan’s leadership skills have been instrumental in bringing people together and will be put to good use advocating for the needs of citizens.
