Statement: Kristine Lytton was elected Assistant Majority Leader in her first legislative term, giving our 40th District a front row seat in delivering for our priorities: education, jobs and the environment. She made sure there were no education cuts this year; delivered new teacher/principal evaluation systems; and funded grants to train kids for future science jobs.
Kristine supported new construction jobs for our region and helped improve roads and ferries. With Kristine's support, farms are protected the same as other natural resources, and new laws and funding will help end derelict nets and fishing gear in our marine waters.
