Statement: My name is Matt Manweller and I am running for the Legislature because we need to shrink government, grow jobs and unleash the potential of Washington. It is time to start rewarding innovation instead of punishing it. Washington has creative and hard working people who are overburdened by taxes, regulation, and an intrusive bureaucracy. Additionally, as life-long educator, I will be a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for Eastern Washington. I will introduce legislation that limits the power of the bureaucracy, seeks water storage solutions, preserves critical access hospital funding, helps small business and makes sure students can afford higher education.
